How we combine the benefits of both CEX & DEX to create the optimal trading experience
Bitgear.io is an ecosystem of professional and user-friendly tools for trading, DeFi, and digital assets. The ecosystem currently consists of four modules; GEAR Market, GEAR Engine, GEAR Portal, and GEAR DeFi.
Today we are going to talk about GEAR Market.
GEAR Market is a liquidity aggregator. Our clean and intuitive interface provides you with access to a synthetic order book that aggregates and bridges the liquidity of the entire cryptocurrency landscape, enabling you to buy or sell assets at optimal prices.
You can use GEAR Market, and other modules of the Bitgear ecosystem, without signing up for anything. Connect a wallet, such as Metamask, and start your trading. At all times, your funds are safu, because only you hold your private keys. The experience is similar to that of a decentralized exchange (DEX), with the added benefits of having deeper liquidity, lower fees, and less slippage.
We are the first exchange that aggregates the liquidity of both centralized exchanges (CEXs) and decentralized exchanges (DEXs). Our engine processes data from dozens of exchange order books and price oracles in nanoseconds upon initiation. Concurrently, it applies complex logic and can adapt dynamically, minimizing failed transactions.
When GEAR Market misses a trade, it re-evaluates the available options and can re-execute the transaction based on the new parameters, while still taking optimal pricing into account. Our algorithm only allows for high slippage when dealing with more exotic assets; furthermore, it can benefit from the bridge connector to our liquidity pool. On illiquid assets, the system provides a warning and cost estimation before executing a trade.
Apart from safety, processing speed has been a priority throughout the development of the platform. It is necessary for accurate price information, allows support of high volume exchanges, and affects transactions’ success rates. Our processing speed is our competitive advantage. We have validated our processing speed at an earlier development stage. During popular initial exchange offerings (i.e., Harmony/ONE), our engine can put the first orders on the books. Since then, we have only improved our technology. By means of the stress test, we have validated the engine’s capability to withstand the trade volume of the highest volume exchange presently on the market in real-time.
Our ETH/CEX bridge is capable of swapping tokens on CEX order books. To advance interoperability and bridge the most significant ecosystems, we have obtained incredible partners. Our partners will support us with the integration of Polkadot and Binance Smart Chain. We will also likely go Polkadot native and announce more regarding our partnerships in the coming weeks.
